Yann Candele Named CAVALOR 'Athlete of the Month' for October

Ottawa, ON --- Jump Canada has named Yann Candele, of Nobleton, ON, the CAVALOR 'Athlete of the Month' for October.

Candele, who formerly competed for France but now rides for Canada, won the $40,000 Kubota Cup Grand Prix at the Maritime Fall Fair held in Halifax, NS.

Riding Mustique, Susan Grange’s 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare, Candele bested a field of 34 starters for the win. The Grand Prix victory also secured Candele’s place at the top of the Kubota Cup Eastern Division standings, earning him a Kubota RTV 500.

“I am very excited to be named the CAVALOR ‘Athlete of the Month’ having just been granted my Canadian citizenship,” said Candele. “It is an honour to receive this award. Having a company like CAVALOR to sponsor the award is a really great bonus.”
