Over the Hill Farm’s Shawn Casady Wins in Three Pony Hunter Divisions

at Jacksonville A-Z Horse Show

Green Cove Springs, FL --- Over the Hill Farm is led by trainer Bill Schaub of Sanford, FL. His students amassed seven tricolor ribbons and two classic wins this past week at the Jacksonville A-Z Horse Show.

Shawn Casady of Kingston, TN, had a great week in the pony hunters. He and Franklin’s Tower, owned by Meg O’Mara, were champions in the Large Pony Hunters after they won two classes in the division. In the Large Pony Hunter Classic, they scored amazing numbers of 91 and 90 for the win.

Casady and Ghirardelli, owned by Ashley Foster, were the Green Small/Medium Pony Hunter champions. They also won two classes in the division. He rode Schaub’s pony Triscuit to the Medium Pony Hunter reserve championship. On Sunlight, owned by Paradysz Farm, he won another class in the Large Pony division.

Back on her top mount Cachet, Lee Cesery of Jacksonville, FL, took the reserve championship in the Amateur-Owner Over 35 Hunters. They were first, third, and third in the division.

In the Adult Amateur 18-35 Hunters, Courtney Rodrigue rode Role Model to the championship in the division. They received first, first, second, and third place ribbons. Role Model also jumped to victory in the Adult Hunter Classic.

Claire Connaghan piloted her pony Freedom to the reserve champion ribbon in the Children’s Pony Hunter division. They won a class, were second, received two fourths, and a sixth in the division.

Assistant trainer picked up the ride on Behind Brown Eyes for Kourtnaye Lewis in the Special 2’9” Hunters. They were reserve champions in that division as well as the Special 3’ Hunters. Behind Brown Eyes picked up two firsts and two seconds in his two divisions of competition.

Over the Hill Farm will compete next at the Jacksonville Finale Horse Show on Feb. 6-10, 2008.
