Over The Hill Farm Has Great 2008 Start at Jacksonville Premier I Horse Show

Green Cove Springs, FL --- Over the Hill Farm, led by trainer Bill Schaub of Sanford, FL, had an outstanding first outing of 2008. Riders competed at the Jacksonville Premier I Horse Show and brought home eight tricolor ribbons.

“We had a great start to the year,” said Schaub. “Everyone rode really well, and we hope to continue our success each week.”

Shawn Casady of Kingston, TN, piloted Triscuit, owned by Bill Schaub, to the championship in the Small/Medium Green Pony Hunters. Triscuit won two over fences classes and the under saddle and was second and sixth in the remaining jumping classes.

In the Medium Pony Hunters, Casady swept the division. On Katie Dinan’s First Impression, he was champion. First Impression was first, second, and fourth over fences and second under saddle. Triscuit was the reserve champion after he finished first, second, and third over fences.

Assistant trainer Molly Sewell had a good week as well. She rode Larkspur, owned by Ashley Kennedy Whitner, to the reserve championship in the Second Year Green Hunters. Larkspur was first, second, third, and third over fences. A fourth in the under saddle wrapped up the tricolor. Owner Whitner rode Larkspur to second place in the Amateur-Owner Hunter Classic.

On Antique, owned by Alexandra Ward, Sewell was the reserve champion in the Baby Green Hunters. They were first, second, and fourth in the division. Another reserve championship came in the Special Hunters, where Antique was second, second, and third.

Lee Cesery of Jacksonville, FL, swept the Amateur-Owner Over 35 Hunter division. She and her veteran hunter What D’Ya Know were the champions. What D’Ya Know jumped to two firsts and two seconds. The reserve championship went to Cachet, who won the under saddle class and was first, second, third, and fifth over fences.
