June 26, 2007
Conyers, GA --- At last week’s Atlanta Summer Classic Horse Show, Over the Hill Farm led the way to 11 tricolor ribbons. Trained by Bill Schaub of Sanford, FL, the riders had an amazing week of competition.
Shawn Casady of Tennessee dominated the pony hunters and equitation. On Blue Crush, owned by Annastella Cohen, he was the reserve champion in the Small Pony Hunters. Also in the Small division, Casady rode Another Beau, owned by Schaub and the JEB Group, to victory in the Small Pony Hunter Classic.
First Impression, a Katie Dinan LLC-owned entry, won three classes in both the Medium and Medium Green Pony Hunters. This gave the talented pony the championship in both divisions.
Casady rode three ponies in the Large division to top ribbons: Anne Gardner’s Showboat, Far Niente LLC’s Grey Goose and Cedar Springs Pen Pal, owned by Tyler Greene. In the Pony Equitation, Casady was almost unbeatable, winning the Green, Medium and Large equitation classes. He was also champion in the unrestricted Children’s/Pony Hunter division on Lucky You, owned by Bill Schaub.
