Daines Ranch Rodeo Thrills Crowds In Innisfail

Innisfail, AB --- The Canadian Rodeo Tour rolled into Innisfail, Alta. last week for the 47th Annual Daines Ranch Rodeo, held June 13-17.

The points-based Tour, which features 11 of the highest-paying rodeos in Canada, pre-qualifies two contestants in each of the six major rodeo events for the $1.128 million dollar Canadian Finals Rodeo, held in Edmonton each November.

In Innisfail, the fourth stop on the 2007 Rodeo Tour, several cowboys used they high-paying rodeo as a chance to fill their Wranglers with cash and take home some more of the all-important Tour points.

“It was the best rodeo we ever, ever had!” said Jack Daines, who hosts the event that features rodeo’s top stock and top contestants.
