Bradley Cox celebrates a Spruce Meadows Victory

Spruce Meadows, Calgary, AB --- The Spruce Meadows “Skyliner” Tournament is a chance for Junior and Amateur riders to develop their skills in a championship format. Throughout the week these up and comers are working towards a final four championship at which one will be crowned champion in each of the five divisions.

Bradley Cox (USA) started off the tournament with a win in the 1.40m Friends of the Meadows Welcome. The speed event proved difficult with rails coming down for most riders adding seconds to their accumulated time. Cox along with her gelding Kosta were able to finish the course clear and with the fastest time of the evening.

The race for the top 10 was tight with the Bradley Cox finishing with 68.118 seconds and 10th place Alfredo Miguel Trevino finishing just over 7 seconds slower.
