Karen Healey Show Stables Excels at Oaks Blenheim June Classic II and Gold Coast Series Horse Shows

San Juan Capistrano, CA --- This past weekend Karen Healey Show Stables competed at the Oaks Blenheim June Classic II in San Juan Capistrano, CA, and the Gold Coast Series Horse Show in Burbank, CA.
At the Oaks Blenheim horse show, Lindsay Ramar and her mount Puma took first place in the $5,000 Junior/ Amateur-Owner Jumper Classic out of 22 entries. Veronica Tracy and Muscadet De La Saveniere finished in fifth, and Katie Gardner piloted Action G to seventh place. Ramar and Tracy also competed with their horses in the $5,000 1.45M Jumper Classic. Ramar pinned second aboard Vallarta and Tracy followed in third. Fred Bauer showed Roma-M in the $2,000 Low Junior/A-O Classic, and the pair earned second place.
In the 1.30M Jumper class, Tammy Chipko added another blue ribbon to the Karen Healey Show Stables’ tack room after she won first place aboard Lottie. Kasey Ament guided Yasmine Abdallat’s new horse Team Harmony’s Lady Lou to third place in the 1.35M Jumper class.
Also in the jumper ring, Tina Dilandri and Chanel 292 won the reserve championship for the High Junior/A-O Jumper division, and Jocelyn Neff received the blue ribbon in the $1,500 Modified Junior-Amateur Jumper Classic with Milano. In the same class, Navona Gallegos and Castana 4 were fourth. Gallegos, who was third in the WCE Medal and second in the CPHA Medal, also won the USEF Show Jumping Talent Search. Tiffani Weeda came in second, Neff took fourth, Tracy earned fifth, and Shelby Wakeman pinned sixth.
Dilandri captured third overall in the Washington International Horse Show (WIHS) equitation class, and Neff picked up second in the WIHS Jumper Phase and was fourth overall. Tracy ranked fifth overall, and Michelle Morris finished in the sixth spot. Morris also won the Equitation 15-17 Flat and took home championships for both the Small and Large Junior 16-17 Hunter divisions. She rode Soft Touch in the Small Junior 16-17 Hunters and Charade in the Large Juniors for trainer John Bragg and Dearborn Stables.
In other equitation classes, Tracy was second in the USEF Hunt Seat Medal, Kristi Siam won the Ariat Adult Medal, and Neff took top honors in the ASPCA Maclay Horsemanship class. Dilandri was second in the Maclay, and Hannah Bibb earned fourth. Neff also finished third over fences and second on the flat in the Equitation 14 and Under classes.
At the Gold Coast Series Horse Show ‘4’, Holly Dickinson rode her way to the blue ribbon in the Rosewood Medal on the ‘A’ day. She was third in the ASPCA and fourth in the L.A.H.J.A./Dominion Saddlery Junior Medal. Samantha Harrison pinned second in the USEF Show Jumping Talent Search and third in the WCE, and Bibb was fourth in the CPHA Medal. Also in the ribbons, Katie Hallmark was third in the 12-14 Equitation over fences, fourth in the Rosewood Medal, and fifth in the PCHA Horsemanship Class. Haley Harrison won the Rosewood Medal on the ‘B’ day, and Rachel Perlin was third. Harrison also won the L.A.H.J.A./Dominion Saddlery Junior Medal.
