Spruce Meadows Continental Wednesday

The show goes on at Spruce Meadows

Spruce Meadows, AB --- The Spruce Meadows "Continental" Tournament got started today at Spruce Meadows with the Scotia Bank Cup. There was an International entry of 57 in the event including most of the recently named riders for Canada's Pan American Games Team.

Events this week include the $100,000 CN Performance Grand Prix. This is the second leg in the CN Precision Series and American rider Lauren Hough is in play for a $50,000 bonus should she win the event on Sunday.

The "Continental" Tournament will feature top athletes from around the world in exciting show jumping competitions in the Meadow's on the Green, North American, All Alberta, Rocky Mountain and All Canada Rings. Admission and parking are free for the week.

Tomorrows events start at 9:30am and end with International competition the Husky Cup at 5:00pm in the Meadows on the Green ring.
